Would you sell your grandmother for a dollar?
I bought the above picture from an Antique dealer in Toronto. It shows some hatty ladies holding on to their hats on a boat in Hamilton Ontario Canada in the 1920s or early 1930s.
I was paying for the picture as the guy told me the woman at the back was his Grandmother. Well she died before I was born - he said. No sentimentality here. She lives again. They are happy hatty ladies.
Please come over and join us at Many Hatty Returns.

A Victorian Top Hat
Read about the mysterious death of George Warden at Many Hatty Returns. How did he die and come and see a picture of him holding his top hat circa 1860s/1870s.
