These are some pictures from a balloon twisted figure exhibited at the Queens Quay Terminal here in
I ran into the artist, Mark Verge, while I was taking these pictures.
Mark is a self confessed balloon twister. His creations are amazing.

He told me that it took seven hours to construct the figure in the picture. The wonderful hat, reminiscent of the "Brazilian Bombshell" Carmen Miranda was originally part of the body gone wrong. It was inspired by an old time carnival hat!
