Thirties or Forties Baby with fancy hat

Here is a baby picture probably from the 30s or 40s is my guess. The babies were dressed in dresses, even the boys. This is a cutie. I love the fancy hat. Hats for babies seemed to have gone the way of the Dodo.

Where are all the hats gone - long time passing................
