Hat Nostalgia

Do you long for the days when men were men and women were ladies? In those old days it seemed like everyone wore a hat. Oh! What heady days! In this blog I will discuss my nostalgia for hat wearing especially by women. The high point in my view was the 1930s. My goal will be to stimulate hat wearing by women - let's bring it back! Who says we cannot change fashion by creating our own movement? Show your personality ladies - put those hats on. Personally I wear a hat every day please join me!

Wear your favorite hat and buy a Nash 1935

What a great car and wonderful colour. It was important to wear your good hat when shopping for a new automobile in 1935. The picture above is part of a period advertisement. I purchased the whole one page advertisement from the Toronto Antique Market recently.

What happened to Nash? Nash merged with Hudson in 1954 to form American Motors and then American Motors was merged into Chrysler in 1987.
